1.100 ERO•SCAN for NHS in Egypt

With great pride we can announce the delivery of 1.100 MAICO ERO•SCAN OAE Testing Devices to Egypt. Like back in 2019, when we have already sent 650 of our easy-to-use hearing screening systems, we have been awarded the tender as a part of a huge newborn hearing screening campaign by the Ministry of Health and Population again. The repeated order is a great sign for us and speaks for the high quality of our products and the satisfaction of their users. And of course we´re very happy to support this important initiative by the Egyptian government in which since September 2019 more than 1.6 Million newborns have been examined for impairment and hearing loss.

Why even a government institution like the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population is trusting our ERO•SCAN OAE screening-solution? If we have a look on the specs, it´s truly no wonder: The ERO•SCAN offers frequency specific TEOAE and/or DPOAE evaluation with easy handling. In addition to that the sharp organic LED Display presents line and bar diagrams for easy and safe interpretation of the screening results. By the way: The ERO•SCAN is also available as a special diagnostic version that´s build for the particular needs of audiologists, otologists and otolaryngologists.
